Helping women untangle the emotions of relationships that don’t go as planned.
There’s a relationship in your life that still gets under your skin… and stays there.
You might not talk about it much, because it feels messy—or because you’re worried you “should be over it by now.”
You thought time would fix it.
It didn’t.
Maybe it’s a parent who never showed up the way you needed. A sibling, friend, or boss who made you feel small. An ex-partner who left you with more questions than closure. Or someone you loved deeply (or didn’t) who is gone now—and you’re still carrying regret, grief, or the ache of what was left unsaid.
And even if your life looks fine on the outside, this relationship keeps tugging at you underneath the surface. It shows up as disappointment you can’t shake. Anger that surprises you. Sadness that hits at random times. Or a heaviness you can’t quite name—just the feeling that something important didn’t turn out the way you hoped it would.
You may have tried to rationalize, minimize, or push it down and “move on.”
But when a relationship has affected your sense of safety, worth, or belonging—you can’t just think your way out of it.
You’re Ready To…
Feel at peace with what happened — even if you never got the apology, clarity, or closure you deserved
Stop carrying the burden alone and feel more supported, understood, and grounded
Trust your own perspective instead of constantly questioning or blaming yourself
Let go of the fantasy version of the relationship and make space for what’s real and healthy now
Set boundaries without guilt or worry that you’re being “too much”
Show up more authentically instead of shrinking, performing, or people-pleasing to keep the peace
Think about that person without feeling hijacked by anger, sadness, or that tight feeling in your chest
Move forward feeling lighter — with more self-compassion and emotional freedom
How i can help
You don’t have to keep feeling the same hurt and saying “it is what it is.”
In our work together, I’ll help you name what you lost — whether that is a person, a relationship, or the ideal relationship you wanted but never truly got. We’ll make space for the grief, the anger, the sadness, and the disappointment, without rushing you to “forgive,” “move on,” or pretend it didn’t matter.
We’ll also look at the patterns that formed around this relationship — how you learned to cope, protect yourself, and keep going. That might include working a lot, shutting down, overthinking, staying guarded, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s comfort. I’ll help you understand how those strategies made sense at the time… and whether they’re still serving you now.
As we go, we’ll connect your insight with real-life change. You’ll learn how to set boundaries without guilt, stop taking on blame that isn’t yours, and start responding to relationships from a place of clarity and self-respect. My goal is to help you feel more secure within yourself, so your past doesn’t keep shaping your present—and you can move forward with more peace, strength, and freedom.
Common questions

In therapy, we’ll slow down and make space for your emotions—grief, anger, sadness, hurt, and the pain of unmet needs—without rushing you to “get over it.” We’ll look at how this relationship shaped you and the patterns it created, so it stops affecting your life in the present. Over time, you’ll feel clearer, lighter, and more grounded in how you show up in relationships moving forward.

The truth is, you can’t know for sure from a website—and you don’t need to. What you can know is whether you feel understood, supported, and clear on a plan after we talk, which is exactly what the free consultation is for.

When we experience disappointment or grief in our relationships, it often feels like we’ve lost our "emotional North Star." You might feel stuck in a cycle of loneliness, numbing out, or constant anxiety about your value to others.
Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) is a compassionate, evidence-based approach designed to help you navigate these heavy waters. While some therapy often focuses more on thoughts or behaviors, EFIT goes straight to the heart of the matter: your emotions and your human need for connection.
In our sessions, we work together to:
Identify the "Loops": Recognize the internal patterns that keep you feeling stuck or disconnected.
Process Relationship Trauma: Gently explore the pain of past disappointments or the weight of grief to help you make sense of them.
Build Inner Security: Strengthen your "emotional muscle" so you can feel more grounded within yourself and more confident in how you show up with others.
Instead of just talking about your feelings, EFIT helps you transform them. By making sense of your emotional world, you can move from a place of isolation toward a sense of balance, resilience, and renewed hope for future connections.

ACT is an research-backed approach that helps you stop getting stuck in painful thoughts and emotions—especially the kind that keep you replaying the past or bracing for disappointment. Instead of trying to force yourself to “move on,” ACT helps you make room for what you feel, get clear on what matters to you, and take steps forward that align with your values.

DBT is a practical, skills-based approach that helps you manage intense emotions, calm anxiety, and respond more effectively when you feel overwhelmed. In therapy, you learn concrete tools for things like emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communicating clearly—so you don’t have to keep spiraling, shutting down, or pushing through.
